Is it Time to Move to Another State? - Pompano Beach

Is it Time to Move to a New Place – Pompano Beach

I love the sun. I love walking outside for most of my exercise so I can be bathed by its rays. Which I need to receive Vitamin D (an essential nutrient for humans to thrive.) I recall times when I resided in Illinois and Northwest Indiana walking in parks on sunny days saying to the sun of how I enjoyed it. Sending out my praise of gratitude.

I also remember watching movies and television shows of others basking in the rays every day. Which is a rarity as a northerner. We will be granted with sunshine mostly in the summer, maybe in the spring or fall. Again, maybe. But mostly long winters that would overlap into the other seasons.

One winter my husband and I traveled to Florida for business and to take a break from the winter harshness. I typically stay away from travelling through the winter to lower possibilities of canceled flights due to ice and snow. But we made it. I walked around and saw people in shorts and flip-flops. I said to myself, “I want this too. I want to bask in the sun more often than summer days.” Makes sense that Florida is called the endless summer state.

I would enjoy my morning, afternoon and evening walks while there. I wanted to take great advantage of it while my husband and I where there. Getting my fill as you will. When we returned I played it over and over in my mind as I sat in my favorite living room chair. My body relived it as well. Because what we feel and think affects our bodies. Whether it is in the past or present. It knows no difference. Consistent thoughts (life instructions) of what we love or the opposite brings it to us.

We will feel various emotions. High emotions of love, joy, and so on. We will also experience low emotions of sadness, anger and those similarities. But it is up to us to catch what we are feeling then decide what to do with it. And ask ourselves, “Is what I am feeling beneficial to the best of me?”

Well, I will encourage you to be more in the high emotion states: love, happiness, joy, and better yet peace. These states of being are beneficial. They promote harmony of the spirit, mind, and body. Our bodies want to be in this way as much as possible. However, the opposite emotional states felt for a long time create discord, unharmonious, state. Which creates an conducive environment for diseases.

I know that when I moved to Florida it was more than a physical move. It was a mental move into another, new way of being, consciousness. It granted me more walks in the sun and fun. Because of my practice of gratitude. Now it has opened the door to a new physical state, a new way to enjoy life in the Austin, Texas area. Where I have been given sunny days, not as much as Florida but it is okay. Because I there are new ways to be in nature. I get to climb, hike, up hills and play in many rivers, more opportunities for fun. Which helps my overall health. This is the healthiest I have ever been.

May you allow yourself to be in states, within your mind, that induces your growth and produces a better way of living. It is possible. We create our lives by our thoughts that are pushed through the air by our emotions.

Be well to enjoy life!
