I Love New Orleans! Which is a shared love between me and my mother who has ascended. This city sings to me. Yes, there is great music there filling the streets and each crack of the cobblestones. But I speak of songs made from the trees there. The stories they tell me sound like melodies. Some sweet as the delicious staple, pralines. Some give sharp notes of tragedies that brought pain to many of past and present. All tunes have shaped this city to what it is today.
There is a good time to be had throughout New Orleans. But my main goal is to always connect with this tree on each visit. It calls to me like a loved one, while you're in town, which reaches out to say, "make sure you come see me before you leave."
This particular tree, in Congo Square of Louis Armstrong Park, has been standing for hundreds of years. It is the elder, the scroll holder and composer of the songs, stories, I hear. Egun, the Ancestor Tree, has also reminded me of our interconnectedness. We are all parts of the one. This is how we feel each other. From humans to trees.
We are cells of the body of Earth. Particles of the universe. When we remember that we are parts of everything our minds expand. Our views can transcend into new states of being, new ways of living. This connection can allow us to better understand each other, download from those who have transitioned (ascended from their Earthly bodies) into the spirit realm and the great knowing Divine Source offers. These teachings, downloads, are here to guide us if we are willing to listen.
Peace and blessings,
NSS
P.S. The title of this blog "And The Tree Said" means something special. The Congo Square Ancestor Tree has given me a beautiful story to write. I look forward to giving birth to this book soon.
Thank you for sharing a beautiful piece of us I say us because like you said we are all apart of the one.
